Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using 100resumes (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is built for law students and early-career lawyers in India. To use 100resumes, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login credentials secure.
3. The Service & AI Use
100resumes helps you check resumes for readability and ATS findability, tailor applications, and draft cover letters and LinkedIn messages based on your "Main" resume.
Assistive Only: Our features use automated processing, including third-party AI APIs. The output is designed to be assistive. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the final content before sending it to employers or network contacts.
No Guarantees: While we aim to improve your application materials, we do not guarantee job interviews, offers, or specific Applicant Tracking System (ATS) outcomes.
4. Honesty & Your Content
We built this product to surface your genuine skills and identify honest gaps, not to invent experience you do not have.
No Fabrication: You must not use the tool to misrepresent your qualifications or impersonate others.
Ownership: You retain full ownership of the resumes and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display this content strictly as needed to operate the Service for you.
Data Integrity: Your Main resume is never silently overwritten. Tailored copies generated for specific jobs are saved as separate versions unless you explicitly choose to update your Main document.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
Generate spam, harassing communications, or unlawful content.
Attempt to bypass our free tier usage limits or reverse-engineer the Service.
Access or attempt to access other users' data.
Scrape our firm directory or public data in a way that violates third-party terms.
6. Fees & Subscriptions
Free Tier: Free accounts include full diagnosis and tailoring features for up to 20 distinct job postings per account.
Premium: Expanded access is available via Premium (₹299 for 1 month from billing), including unlimited use of gated workspace tools and up to three library resumes. Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment gateway, and activation is immediate upon successful payment.
Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the Service, payments are generally non-refundable unless legally required. Premium does not auto-renew.
We reserve the right to modify our pricing with reasonable notice to active users.
7. Third-Party Content
Our firm directory and AI-assisted web-search results (such as suggested contacts) are informational only and do not constitute endorsements. Information aggregated from public law firm websites may occasionally be incomplete or outdated.
8. Intellectual Property
100resumes owns the Service, our brand, and the underlying software platform. You may not copy, reproduce, or reverse-engineer the Service except as explicitly permitted by law.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is a software tool, not legal, career, or tax advice. It is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 100resumes and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service (including missed employment opportunities). In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the past 12 months.
11. Termination
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via your Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms of Service.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, subject to mandatory consumer protection rights.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service as our platform grows. Continued use of 100resumes after the effective date of any updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
